Labcraft’s Hyperlux has been given the thumbs up by Greater Manchester RAYNET following de-sensing problems experienced when mounting 12V 10W floodlights sourced from the Far East. Raynet was formed in 1953 after the severe East coast flooding to provide communication assistance to the community, and is now regarded as a professional support organisation by the statutory and volunteer emergency services, attending 1000’s of events each year.

Following these problems, Roger Alexander went in search of a reputable UK manufacturer, and was impressed with Labcraft’s LED specifications together with the robustness and IP rating of the lights. The two Hyperlux units have proved a great success in their 3m x 3m gazebo, without a hint of RFI, running continuously cool and delivering room level illumination over an 8 hour night duty from a single 12V 12Ah battery.
